What is Nationwide Shipping?
I’m so excited to be able to share Bob's Discount to everyone across the country - even to locations where I don't yet have stores! Any product that ships via FedEx is eligible for Nationwide Shipping. There may be a few remote zip codes that don't qualify, but for the most part, if you live in the contiguous United States, I'll ship to you. Sorry, Alaska and Hawaii!
Are all products available for Nationwide Shipping?
Not yet. Only products that ship via FedEx are currently eligible for Nationwide Shipping. All Online Only and Value Express products qualify. It's an incredible assortment of super stylish, quality items at incredible values! I will continuously expand the assortment of eligible products so check back often! Start shopping now!
Is there an additional fee for Nationwide Shipping?
Good news! Many of the Value Express products that are eligible for Nationwide Shipping will have shipping fees included in their price. These products will be marked with a "Shipping Included" badge. All Online Only products have shipping fees included in their price. Other Value Express products will be subject to a shipping fee between ranging between $4.99 and $59.99 depending on the size and weight of the product.
Do I need to assemble products that are shipped via FedEx?
Some products may require assembly. Customers are responsible for any assembly required. Time to call that handy uncle with all the tools!
How do I set up my Bed-in-a-Box?
Setting up your new mattress is fun and easy. First, remove the compressed mattress from the box. Next, place the mattress on its intended foundation or platform and remove the outer wrapping. Unroll your mattress and remove the protective covering. Leave a few hours for the mattress to fully expand. Enjoy! For more details on how to set up your mattress, read my step-by-step tutorial.
When will merchandise that ships via FedEx be delivered?
Products are shipped via FedEx typically within 3 to 6 business days. You will receive a FedEx tracking number via email so you can follow the progress of your order. Please remember to provide an accurate email address so you can receive updates.
Do I have to be home to receive the FedEx delivery?
No, your signature is not required for items delivered via FedEx.
What happens if the item I receive is damaged?
If your Online Only item is damaged upon receipt, please call our Web Support line at 860-474-1089. A Customer Support agent will work with you to return the damaged product via FedEx. We will then arrange a new shipment of a replacement product.
How will I know when my Nationwide Item has shipped?
You will receive an email from Bob’s Discount Furniture to update you that the merchandise has shipped and we will provide you with the FedEx tracking number.
Is service available for products that ship via FedEx?
Yes. I have partnered with contractors across the nation to service Bob’s customers with a few small exceptions. Service is not available for assembly or damage related to assembly.
What is the return policy for items that ship via FedEx?
Standard shipping (FedEx) items may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. Once you accept your furniture it cannot be returned with a few exceptions: Standard Shipping (FedEx) – Including orders shipped directly from our vendors. Merchandise that was shipped via FedEx may be returned for a full refund within 3 days of receipt minus the cost of return shipping.
