Thanks to the support from our guests, Bob’s Discount Furniture is proud to donate $25,000 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help kids in local communities across the country.
Funds were raised during the first half of the year through the sale of our first-ever Little Bob plushie, which helped launch Bob’s Plushies for Charity program. With every plushie sold in participating stores nationwide, Bob’s contributed $5 from the sale to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to benefit local member hospitals.
“At Bob’s, giving back to the communities we’re part of isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are,” said Lindsay Ruszczyk, Director of Communications, Community Outreach, and Public Relations. “Our Plushies for Charity program is one of my favorite examples of this. It brings our core value of fun to life for our guests, while also helping Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals bring comfort and healing to kids who truly need it most.”
CMN Hospitals support the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these services.

Bob’s Discount Furniture has supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for more than three years and has contributed nearly $200,000 to support local member hospitals coast-to-coast!
True Champions
Every year, local member hospitals of CMN Hospitals identify a “Champion” child within each community to serve as an ambassador. To celebrate these brave children, Bob’s gifted every 2025 CMN Champion a Little Bob plushie during Children’s Hospitals Week.
Our Partnership
During the Plushies for Charity campaign, representatives from local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals visited Bob’s stores to share about the impact of the fundraising.
“One hundred percent of the funds raised by Bob’s Discount Furniture directly help local children’s hospitals across the country and those funds are really important because they allow hospitals to address whatever their most pressing need is at a given time,” said Caroline Killeen, Manager, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Corporate Partnerships.
Little Bob Plushies
Currently, participating Bob’s Discount Furniture stores are supporting Family Promise through the sale of Little Bob plushies. The campaign concludes at the end of the year. Bob’s is also supporting the USO to benefit North Carolina Operations through the sale of Little Bob plushies in all North Carolina locations through the end of year.
Bob’s plans to continue to sell Little Bob plushies for charity in all locations. The Plushies for Charity program runs congruently with Bob’s Café Collections for a Cause program, which Bob’s matches guests’ donations made in store cafés dollar-for-dollar for various non-profit organizations.
