Bob’s Speeds Into North Carolina!

July 22, 2025

Bob’s is proud to make a speedy entry into North Carolina with the help our new partners Joe Gibbs Racing and Denny Hamlin.

We celebrated the grand opening of three of our newest stores in the state, bringing Bob’s store count total to 200 AND GROWING!

Our festivities kicked off with the unveiling of the Bob’s-branded No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE which will make its debut in the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Iowa Speedway on August 3rd with driver Denny Hamlin behind the wheel.

“We are thrilled to partner with Bob’s Discount Furniture,” said Joe Gibbs, owner of Joe Gibbs Racing. “Racing every weekend all across the country, we will have the opportunity to promote their great furniture at everyday low prices to race fans everywhere.”

“Partnering with Joe Gibbs Racing is a natural fit for Bob’s,” said Bill Barton, President and CEO of Bob’s Discount Furniture. “We’re both committed to excellence, delivering value, and engaging with communities in meaningful ways. Debuting the Bob’s-branded No. 11 car at Bob’s Grand Opening in Winston-Salem, a region with deep NASCAR heritage and our newest store location, makes this moment even more special.”

Three women stand behind a table with four plush dolls wearing yellow shirts and blue pants. Two signs display "USO" in bold letters. A flyer reads "Little Bob, Big Impact" promoting the USO organization. The setting appears to be an indoor event or store with modern furniture and plants in the background.

North Carolina locations will support the USO through Dec. 31 with their Café Collection for a Cause and Plushies for Charity programs.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Bob’s Discount Furniture as they enter the North Carolina market,” said Kelli Willoughby, Executive Director of USO North Carolina. “Their generous support will help the USO continue to keep service members connected to their families and communities—from the moment they enlist, through their service, and as they transition back to civilian life.”

Our commitment to giving back to the community is just beginning as we make North Carolina home and we’re honored to support local organizations near each new store! Thank you to North Forsyth High School for helping welcome Bob’s to Winston-Salem with an amazing performance by the Black Ice Drumline and thanks to the Green Beret Foundation and Edwin A. Alderman Elementary School for helping celebrate our stores in Fayetteville and Wilmington. We’re so proud to support you!

Bob’s is thrilled to serve the Tar Heel State and help our guests turn the places where live, into homes they will love! Check out our North Carolina locations here.
