Bob’s is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Operation Homefront and invite guests to help support military and veteran families during our fourth-quarter Café Collection for a Cause.

From October 1 through December 31, 2026, donations made in participating Bob’s Cafés and online

will benefit Operation Homefront’s Transitional Housing – Apartments program. Bob’s will match guest contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000, helping every donation go even further.

“As we enter the seventh year of our partnership with Operation Homefront, we’re proud to invite our guests to help military and veteran families build strong, stable futures,” said Lindsay Ruszczyk, Director of Communications, Community Outreach and PR for Bob’s Discount Furniture. “By matching every guest donation dollar-for-dollar, we can make each contribution go even further and create a meaningful impact for the families who have given so much in service to our country.”

How to Donate

Stop by any participating Bob’s location, make a donation in the Café and Bob’s will match the contribution dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000.

You can find a full list of Bob’s locations here.

Guests can also donate online here.

About Operation Homefront

Operation Homefront’s mission is to build strong, stable and secure military and veteran families by improving their financial, emotional and social well-being.

Operation Homefront’s Transitional Housing – Apartments program provides veterans with a rent- and utility-free apartment for one year, while giving them access to employment and financial counseling services that can help them achieve stability and chart a path toward long-term post-military success.

“We deeply appreciate Bob’s Discount Furniture and its customers for their ongoing support of Operation Homefront’s mission,” said Regan Huneycutt, Operation Homefront Chief Revenue Officer. “Their generosity helps us provide critical programs and resources that empower military and veteran families to overcome challenges, strengthen their financial footing and move forward with confidence. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and excited to continue making a lasting impact.”

Our Partnership

Since partnering with Operation Homefront in 2019, Bob’s and our guests have contributed nearly $400,000 in support of military families. Through Café Collections for a Cause, in-kind furniture donations, program sponsorships and volunteerism, the partnership has supported programs that provide housing assistance, address food insecurity and help military children prepare for school.

Most recently, Bob’s presented a $50,000 donation generated through Café Collections for a Cause and a dollar-for-dollar match.  The donation provided a military family with a full year of rent-free housing through Operation Homefront's Transitional Housing – Apartments program. Since launching in 2022, the program has helped veteran families save more than $670,000 in housing and utility expenses.

Because Bob’s believes everyone deserves a home they love, our support also extends beyond fundraising. Bob’s has provided furniture to military families during transitional living periods, including furnishing the home of the Kuhn family through Operation Homefront’s Transitional Homes for Veterans program. Bob’s also welcomed the Kuhn family for a shopping trip at our Fayetteville, North Carolina store as they settled back in the area and focused on their future.

Bob’s team members have also supported Operation Homefront through volunteerism, including helping prepare holiday meal bags for more than 100 military families in Connecticut, as well as supporting programs focused on food insecurity and school readiness for military children.

We’re grateful to our guests and team members for helping us continue this meaningful partnership and support military families as they build strong, stable and secure futures.
