April is Global Volunteer Month and Bob’s is thrilled to celebrate our employees and the ways they’ve given back this year.

Bob’s team members have volunteered with Community Outreach partners like Operation Homefront and Special Olympics enriching these longstanding relationships.

Employees have rolled up their sleeves to build with Habitat for Humanity and participated in a local park clean-up.

Beyond the workplace, Bob’s employees have given their time and talents to support needs in their own communities.

We’re honored to celebrate our team for all they do and say, ‘Thanks for being the best part of Bobs!’

Supporting Partners

In November 2022, more than 150 employees gathered at Bob’s headquarters in Manchester, Connecticut to pack more than 20,000 meals for U.S. Hunger. U.S. Hunger was the recipient of Bob’s Café Collection for a Cause fundraising earlier in the year.

Large group of people in navy blue shirts gathered inside a modern building, holding banners that read "BOB'S Discount Furniture" and "Today We Packaged 20,000 Meals" for a community service event.

In the winter of 2023, Bob’s employees volunteered at the Connecticut Special Olympics Winter Games. Employees were able to spend time with athletes and cheer on fellow employee Alexa Lotufo in snowshoeing and Chuck Yenkner in alpine skiing.

Four athletes wearing blue jackets and white bibs with "Connecticut" and Special Olympics logos, each with a red medal ribbon, stand under a tent. A banner behind them reads "CONNECT WITH SPECIAL OLYMPICS CONNECTICUT" with social media icons for Twitter and Instagram and the URL "https://instagram.com/specialolympicsct/". Medals are displayed on tables covered with black and red cloths.
