Kimberly Bonneau

How long I’ve been at Bob’s: Two and a half years
My role as Furniture Hero: I’m a Sales Support Specialist on our Bob’s Squad team.

How it helps YOU: I make sure every customer has a smooth purchasing process from start to finish.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): Being able to provide a great best of Bob’s ceremony and also assisting guests when they feel like no one has been able to help them previously.

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Clover desk and the Posh living room.

Dennis LeClair

How long I’ve been at Bob’s: Six years
My role as Furniture Hero:
I’m a Buyer for our dining, outdoor, and accent furniture.

How it helps YOU: I make sure our customers have access to the highest quality materials at Bob’s everyday low prices.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): While traveling in Malaysia visiting some of our factories, we took a slight detour and were swarmed by a group of monkeys — we fed them treats through a small crack in the window and had a lot of laughs along the way.

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Mango dining set, and Beaumont bedroom set.

Michael Holland

How long I’ve been at Bob’s: 15 years
My role as Furniture Hero:
I facilitate the onboarding and training of new hires and provide consultative training support to help stores achieve their business and development goals.

How it helps YOU: By training our new hires, I ensure that every Bob’s customer gets the personalized help they need!

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): There are almost too many to count!  Generally speaking, it’s remembering the hundreds (possibly thousands) of new hires I’ve been able to impact over the years and seeing so many of them stepping up into leadership roles across the company.  More specifically, taking part in the Bedzone Bash, Rebuilding Together, Special Olympics, Penguin Plunge, and other amazing charity events over the years.

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Indulgence mattress, Montana bedroom, and Trailblazer living room (A reimagining of the Trailride set that I’ve had for nearly 15 years!).

Lindsay Ruszczyk

How long I’ve been at Bob’s: Six and a half years
My role as Furniture Hero: As the Director of Community Outreach, I steer our giving strategy, volunteer programs, and nonprofit partnerships by coordinating team volunteer efforts—think community builds, bed donations, and sprucing up local shelters.

How it helps YOU: I design and lead programs that bring comfort and care to the communities we serve.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): Organizing a meal packing event in our Home Office where 150 employees packed 25,000 meals for US families in need. There was so much energy in the room!

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Scarlett vanity, the Sploosh chair (I have a 10 and 12 year old so we’re all about lounging in comfort!), and the Keystone bunk bed  — the ultimate piece for sleepovers or storing hundreds of stuffed animals in the trundle (which is what my daughter does lol).

Jackie Zhao

How long I’ve been with Bob’s: I’ve been with Bob’s since July 2023 and can’t wait for many more years!
My role as Furniture Hero: I’m a Senior Financial Analyst at Bob’s — supporting sales and marketing. I crunch a lot of numbers in Excel but every day is different, which keeps my job interesting!

How it helps YOU: My work helps keep Bob’s everyday low prices low!

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): Getting to visit the home office during the fall picnic is most definitely a top memory. Not only was it wonderful to see everyone in person as opposed to in square boxes, it was also my first time experiencing a New England fall! The crisp autumn air and aroma of apple cider donuts walking into the home office cannot be beat!

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Treasure Queen Dual mattress (SO comfortable. I got it half firm, half extra firm — perfect for someone as indecisive as myself), the Sidekick Queen Pop-Up Sleeper Sofa with USB & USB-C Ports (my roommate and I use it DAILY — sometimes I fall asleep here instead of my bed) and the Charlene TV Stand (perfect for our TV and has so much storage).

Melanie Garay Perez

How long I’ve been with Bob’s: 14 years
My role as Furniture Hero: I am a Senior Operations Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations.

How it helps YOU: My role includes managing staffing levels, driving team training, development, and engagement, and ensuring operational efficiency — making sure products are shipped to our customers in excellent condition and on time.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies) My favorite Bob’s memory is meeting Bob Kaufman during my orientation. What stood out to me even more was that years later, he continued to visit our building and always made it a point to say hello to all the associates. It showed his genuine care and connection to the team, and it left a lasting impression on me.

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Sofia sectional, Glamour fireplace, and Sonoma dining set.

Kevin Parker

How long I’ve been at Bob’s: 30 years in October
My role as Furniture Hero: I am the Divisional Vice President for the West Coast and parts of the Midwest.

How it helps YOU: I am responsible for world-class customer experience and driving results; leading with a people-first mindset where culture matters and guests come first.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): I have so many favorite memories…when Bob K came to the store with his dad and sister when I was a salesperson, and I happened to be finishing up a sale with a guest, Ilene, his sister, who is an incredible salesperson/closer (maybe better than Bob) asked if she could meet my guest or I asked if she could come over because I thought I did a great job selling this guest furniture. She met this guest and asked a few questions, and some discussion later…the sale went from $799 to over $4000. This taught me a few valuable lessons I was able to pass along throughout my career to others and pay a lot of bills. How to build a sale, ask more questions — less talk, more listening to the guest. And I have so many more memories I can’t think of right now!

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Showcase living room, Envy mattress, and all other furniture on our floor that beats the competition — so pretty much everything!

John Taylor

How long I’ve been with Bob’s: 27 years
My role as Furniture Hero: My current role is a Product Standard Specialist.

How it helps YOU: I make sure each and every one of Bob’s pieces meet top industry quality standards.

Oh my Bob! My favorite memor(ies): My favorite Bob’s memory was when some recliners got lost in the warehouse and they told me nobody could find these recliners and they asked me if i could help, I said yes and I did in fact find them.

My fave finds from Bob’s: The Showcase set, the Infinity bedroom set, and Brookline dining set

Bob

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
