Style Your Bar Cart

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! And before you invite the crew over for happy hour, why not spruce up your cocktail setup with a stylish bar cart to put you in a partying mood? Read on for my favorite ways to make an at-home bar feel fabulous!

First, it’s time to figure out your bar cart ✨vibe✨ — not sure where to start? My Claire Gold & Marble Oval Bar Cart has the perfect amount of polish to add a welcome bit of shine to your décor (plus, it’s made from real marble!).

Short on space? I’ve also got a smaller version that still has room for glassware and bottles of Champagne! (p.s., if you’re looking for something else, I’ve got plenty of other bar carts ranging from contemporary to rustic to glam!)

Next, it’s time to add the basics — after all, what’s a bar without barware? Pick a few of your favorite glasses (making sure to have a variety of rocks glasses, highball glasses and wine glasses for all kinds of beverages!) and add them to different levels of the bar cart.

Next, grab a few of your most aesthetically pleasing liquor and mixer bottles and stack them throughout (tip: a great way to ensure that your liquor bottle is aesthetically pleasing is to transfer your spirit into a glass or crystal decanter!). Then, add a cocktail shaker and a funky ice bucket.

Finally, it’s time to add your day-of décor — this is where you can tweak your bar cart style to the season, and the drinks you’re serving! Choose some fresh seasonal flowers, sliced lemons, limes and oranges, and maybe even a few bar snacks to add to the aperitivo hour mood.

Lastly, invite your friends over to celebrate the occasion — which is your beautifully styled new bar cart’s debut, of course! Cheers!

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
