"Love the couch but it came damaged or was damaged during the delivery unpacking. Middle piece has been sliced open. Very disappointing since I had to wait a month with it being on back order. Didn’t realize it until the delivery guys left. It was sliced with a knife it appears. So my guess is the delivery guys cut it when unboxing the piece. Stitching is also coming out in spots. I expect higher quality for the price I paid."

"The chair is very comfortable. One great feature is that it when reclined the footrest remains slightly less than horizontal to the floor. What this means is that your feet remain below heart-level allowing the blood to circulate normally. Extreme comfort!"

Couch Great, Bob's Experience Frustrating & Very Disappointing

"We absolutely love our new couch—it is comfortable, looks great, and we are very happy with the sectional itself. Unfortunately, our overall experience with Bob’s Furniture has been much less than stellar. One of the other pieces in our order, a TV stand with a fireplace, arrived broken. We had to wait a week for a replacement. Before that replacement was delivered, we were very clear with the delivery team that the box needed to remain upright because of the nature of the item. We were assured this would be handled correctly. Unfortunately, the replacement arrived upside down and broken as well. We are now facing another 10-day wait for a third one. Meanwhile there are multiple of the item in the local store. We also paid for white-glove delivery service, and unfortunately, it did not feel like white-glove service. We had to take apart the drawer handles ourselves to remove a paper tag that had been left behind. We also had to take the sectional apart to locate the power cord and then reconnect all three pieces ourselves just to get everything plugged in and working. We have already contacted the delivery department and even went into the store to speak with the store manager, but we still have not received a satisfactory resolution. To be clear, we love the couch. The product itself has been great. However, the delivery, handling, and customer service experience has been extremely frustrating, especially considering the additional cost we paid for white-glove service. We shouldn't have had to spend this much time dealing with damaged merchandise and correcting issues that should have been handled during delivery. I hope Bob’s will take this feedback seriously and work to improve the delivery and customer service experience, because the quality of the couch itself has been great—we just wish the rest of the experience had matched it."
