Bob’s Announces Partnership with Operation Homefront

July 3, 2019

I’m excited to begin a new partnership with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that serves America’s military families. Operation Homefront will be our newest Café Collections for a Cause recipient for the fourth quarter! That means that every customer donation made in Bob’s complementary Cafés from October through December will be matched by Bob’s Charitable Foundation and donated to Operation Homefront.

Additionally, the support from Bob’s Outreach Program will help fund other programs such as Holiday Meals For the Military (HMFM) and theHomes on the Homefront (HOTH) housing program.

Two men in business attire hold a large check from Bob’s Furniture for $18,000 dated 6/12/2019, payable to Operation Homefront. Next to them is a banner with the Operation Homefront logo and text: "Serving America’s Military Families OperationHomefront.org," featuring an image of a military family. The setting appears to be a furniture showroom.

After receiving the donation John shared, “We are absolutely thrilled to begin our partnership with Bob’s Discount Furniture as their very generous support allows us to provide a wide range of highly valued programs to help our military families who are struggling to make ends meet. I know Bob’s entire team shares our unwavering commitment to giving those who have done so much for all of us the opportunity to thrive in the communities – OUR communities – they have worked so hard to protect.”

While John was thrilled to meet Mike and the Outreach team, I could tell it was really me that he was excited to see. But because I couldn’t attend the event in person, the two teams huddled around my statue in the Café for a great photo op!
