MANCHESTER, Conn. – Bob’s Discount Furniture is proud to announce a new charitable partnership with the USO, aimed at supporting military service members and their families throughout North Carolina. This meaningful collaboration kicks off with a $25,000 donation from Bob’s to the USO, presented during the grand opening celebration of the new Bob’s store in Winston-Salem on July 17, 2025.
“As we open our first stores in North Carolina, we’re proud to support the USO and its important mission,” said Adam Abbassi, Divisional Vice President at Bob’s Discount Furniture. “This partnership is all about providing comfort to those who serve and their families, and we’re excited to engage our customers in that effort through meaningful programs that give back.”
Through this partnership, Bob’s is running two charitable initiatives through December 31 across all six of its North Carolina locations:
- Café Collections for a Cause: Customers can enjoy free treats in any Bob’s in-store Café and make a donation to the USO. Bob’s will match every donation dollar-for-dollar, up to $75,000.
- Plushies for Charity: For every Little Bob plushie sold at North Carolina stores, Bob’s will donate $5 to the USO.
These programs will run through December 31, 2025, giving customers ample time to get involved as new stores open in Winston-Salem (June 23), Fayetteville (June 30), Wilmington (July 7), Jacksonville, Cary, and Durham later this year.
