{"id":8732,"date":"2026-01-14T15:35:19","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T20:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/?p=8732"},"modified":"2026-01-14T17:04:57","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T22:04:57","slug":"giving-comfort-joy-bobs-joe-andruzzi-foundation-bring-home-moments-that-matter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/giving-comfort-joy-bobs-joe-andruzzi-foundation-bring-home-moments-that-matter\/","title":{"rendered":"Giving Comfort & Joy: Bob\u2019s + Joe Andruzzi Foundation Bring Home Moments That Matter\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Over the 2025 Holiday Season, Bob\u2019s was privileged to partner once again with the <strong>Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF)<\/strong>\u2014an organization that brings help, hope, and a reason to smile to New England cancer patients and their families\u2014to deliver something simple and profound: <em>comfort at home<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Giving Tuesday That Went Even Further<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, JAF\u2019s Giving Tuesday campaign introduced a meaningful new twist: patient shopping sprees at local Bob\u2019s stores\u2014two in each New England state\u2014while Bob\u2019s tripled donations resulted in over $60,000 raised, with an additional $30,000 going directly to patients via the shopping sprees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That spirit of generosity set the tone for the season that followed. The families expressed their gratitude through heartfelt words and joyful smiles that they wore proudly.\u201d said Jen Andruzzi, Joe Andruzzi Foundations President and CEO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Home Matters<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For patients navigating treatment, home is where rest and recovery happen. Over the years, our partnership with JAF has focused on very tangible ways to improve that environment, from donating mattresses and bedding to spotlighting patient stories that drive home the impact of the JAF and Bob\u2019s partnership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWatching patients choose pieces that will support their comfort and recovery is incredibly powerful. We\u2019re honored to work alongside the Joe Andruzzi Foundation to help create spaces that feel safe, calm, and truly like home during such a challenging time.\u201d added Lindsay Ruszczyk, Bob\u2019s Director of Community Outreach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The\u00a0Day Of\u00a0Experience<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During each shopping spree, Bob\u2019s teammates welcomed patients and their families with warmth and\u00a0low pressure\u00a0guidance\u00a0helping them choose items that matched their needs, treatment schedules, and living spaces. From supportive mattresses to cozy sectionals, durable recliners, and lighting that make a room feel calm, every\u00a0selection\u00a0was made with one goal:\u00a0to\u00a0give comfort and spark joy at
