That\u2019s why I wanted to give back in a major way while I was in Southeast Michigan opening four new stores in May. In addition to supporting 9 local schools, I also had the pleasure of supporting three community organizations fighting homelessness in the region. Two members of her program came along too and picked out furniture to be delivered to their shelter facilities in June. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe were able to connect Bob\u2019s to local homeless shelters to help provide those much-needed furniture items,\u201d said Ratekin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Ratekin’s assistance, we were put in touch with First Step, an organization committed to supporting peaceful families and safe communities by providing comprehensive services for victims of domestic and sexual violence. When we reached out to them they were thrilled to have our support.
