The ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday began with sentiments from Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture President and CEO Bill Barton, followed by Bob\u2019s EVP of Operations Ramesh Murthy, and Werner Final Mile Vice President Nathan Browne. The truck, outfitted with the logos of Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture, Werner Final Mile and Izuzu, was also on display and available for photos.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u201cToday\u2019s momentous presentation of the EV truck is another step forward in Bob\u2019s commitment to eco-friendly transportation practices,\u201d said Ramesh Murthy, Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture, EVP Operations. \u201cBy partnering with Werner on this initiative and embracing clean and green choices across our business operations, Bob\u2019s is proud to contribute towards a better future for our customers and communities.\u201d<\/p><p>Nate Browne, Werner\u2019s Vice President of Delivery Operations, concluded the event by stating, &#8220;Innovation is at the core of what we do, and our work with Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture is driving us forward.
