Bob\u2019s! Bob\u2019s! rang out from the plunge platform as Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture employees prepared for the Special Olympics DC Polar Plunge on February 24th. Now through March 31st, guests can stop in any Bob\u2019s store and donate to support their local chapter of Special Olympics. Bob\u2019s matches donations dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000. Since partnering in 2014, Bob\u2019s has contributed more than $500,000 to support Special Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year Bob\u2019s is celebrating our 10-year-anniversiary supporting Special Olympics,\u201d said Lindsay Ruszczyk, Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture Communications and Community Outreach Director. \u201cWe\u2019re so excited to amplify our support by contributing over $10,000 to kickstart our store plunge teams. Knowing how dedicated our employees are to our mission of supporting the community, we are not surprised they raised even more funds and created so many lasting friendships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mary Beth McMahon, President &amp; CEO of Special Olympics Massachusetts expressed her sincere appreciation for Bob\u2019s longtime commitment to support Special Olympics, \u201cBob\u2019s commitment to inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities has been expressed through their support of Special Olympics for ten years!
