With an employment-focused program, Covenant House offers youth under the age of 21, shelter, medical services, meals, mental health support, legal support, education, and employment training. Covenant House is open 24\/7, 365 days of the year and operates in 34 cities across 5 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tod Monaghan, Senior Vice President of Key Partnerships has been with Covenant House New York for more than 20 years first beginning as a social worker. Monaghan said the youth in New York mostly come from the five boroughs, but a small percentage come from all over America and foreign countries. Youth come to Covenant House for a variety of different reasons, but no youth is turned away from services, explained Monaghan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCovenant House is grateful for the support of the Bob\u2019s community ,\u201d said Covenant House President &amp; CEO Bill Bedrossian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is partnerships like this, and creative campaigns like Caf\u00e9 for a Cause, that enable us to not only continue providing meals, safe beds, medical care, and all the immediate needs for our young people but also enables us to lift up our young people as they work so hard pursuing their goals and dreams. We are grateful to Bob\u2019s for recognizing the great promise of our young people and joining with them on their individual journeys,\u201d said Bedrossian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 4.2 million young people experience homelessness every year in the U.S. alone.
