Bob\u2019s Community Outreach team was honored to participate in a room makeover for Jasmine to help make this college milestone memorable with the bedroom set of her dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Connecticut-based non-profit, <a href=\"https:\/\/thecircleofcare.org\/\">Circle of Care<\/a>, organized a bedroom and closet makeover for Jasmine as part of their Art from the Heart program. Jasmine added Bob\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mybobs.com\/furniture\/bedroom\/bedroom-sets\/p\/20077824\">Glamour<\/a> bedroom set to the top of her wish list.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mybobs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6740\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103-768x1025.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103-1151x1536.jpg 1151w, https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103-1168x1558.jpg 1168w, https:\/\/www.mybobs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_5103.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Tasked with everything from fundraising to furnishing Jasmine\u2019s space, <a href=\"https:\/\/buildfairfieldcounty.com\/pwb\/#!form\/PWB\">Fairfield County Professional Women in Building Council <\/a>(FCPWB) Philanthropy Group, a member of Art from the Heart, called on Bob\u2019s to help provide the bedroom set and pillowtop mattress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBob\u2019s Discount Furniture made sure we received the bedroom set that Jasmine truly wanted,\u201d said FCPWB Philanthropy Group member, Rebecca St. Germaine. \u201cThey even helped select a mattress that was soft and comfortable for Jasmine.\u00a0 We can never express our gratitude for all that Bob\u2019s did to assist. They are nothing short of incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are always ready to support the community when a need arises,\u201d said Communications and Community Outreach Director, Lindsay Ruszczyk, \u201cbut Jasmine\u2019s donation was even more special because we were able to gift her with the bed of her dreams.\u201d Ruszczyk added, \u201cHaving a good night\u2019s sleep is crucial as Jasmine undergoes treatments and we\u2019re glad Bob\u2019s could provide a pillowtop mattress and pillows as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2005, Circle of Care\u2019s Art from the Heart teams have transformed more than 130 bedrooms and playrooms in the homes of young patients throughout Connecticut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor a child undergoing emotionally and physically draining cancer treatment, a comfortable and uplifting place to spend their time is essential. This dream-room makeover&nbsp;program is&nbsp;designed to give some sense of control back to these children,\u201d noted Circle of Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jasmine was surprised with her new bedroom over the summer, just in time for school to begin.
