An organization near each of the 122 Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture stores, 5 distribution centers, and 5 future store locations will receive a $2,000 donation from the furniture retailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDuring this season of giving, we are excited to support food pantries in our communities for the sixth year in a row,\u201d said Bob Kaufman, president emeritus and co-founder of Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture. \u201cWe know that many people struggle to feed their families and we\u2019re hoping these donations help provide meals to those in need during this holiday season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/bobscares.org\/\">Bob\u2019s Discount Furniture Charitable Foundation<\/a> supports many children and youth service organizations. As the holidays approach, the retailer will spread its charitable arm to support those in need, providing necessary funds to local food pantries in the fight to end hunger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>“On behalf of Forgotten Harvest, I thank you for your generous donation this Holiday season. This donation will help us feed the people that are suffering from hunger and food insecurity in Metro Detroit.
