The kids voted on the type of business they wanted to run \u2013 a Hip Hop Art and Production studio \u2013 and how they wanted the space to be furnished to accomplish their business goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s how the idea for their Strictly Business space was born. We have a history of huddling up together to support the Pittsburgh community so this project seemed like a great fit to work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After listening to the teens\u2019 plans, Boys and Girls Club staff including Dr. Lisa Abel-Palmieri, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Western PA and Jim Barry, Boys & Girls Club Director of Strategic Initiatives and Outreach, put together a wish list of furniture pieces and Steelers wall decor and sent them our way. They wanted to help make today a special day and watch you enjoy all this cool new furniture!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, Dupree shared that he had attended two different Boys & Girls Clubs while growing up in Georgia but both were shut down due to lack of funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI understand the impact the Club has on kids…and why it\u2019s important for groups like the Steelers and Bob\u2019s to support Boys & GIrls Club to keep them the clubs going and keep kids off the streets.\u201d<\/p><cite>Bud Dupree – Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Dupree\u2019s appearance was a big surprise to the kids, who were able to spend time with him and show him around the Club.
