Working in harmony with the base’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Program, the center provides a welcoming place to relax, recharge, and connect—whether that means grabbing a snack, spending time with loved ones, or simply feeling a little closer to home.</p> <p>Now triple the size of the previous center, the new center offers features computer workstations and refreshments on one side and a recreation center on the other, which features Bob’s recliners, side chairs, and coffee tables.</p> <div class="wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca Kenneth Curtin Jr. who was the 53rd Commanding Officer of Naval Submarine Base New London from 2021 to 2025. “The demands of the submarine community are unlike any other,” he said. “Long, often silent deployments. Extended separation. Our sailors carry this weight. The donation was presented during the grand opening of Bob’s new store and distribution center in Solon, Ohio, marking a meaningful moment of giving back to the local community.</p> <p>“Because of partners like Bob’s, more families are able to move from uncertainty to safe, stable housing,” said Family Promise CEO Cheryl Schuch. “Every Little Bob plushie sold represents a family supported, a child given stability, and a step closer to ending family homelessness. Place your runner down the centerline of the table, and set your plates accordingly. Then add a (neatly) folded cloth napkin on top of the plate — cotton and linen napkins have a light, spring-like quality. Follow with a matching bowl on top of your napkins. Because we’re doing a spring look, I’ve gone with greens, golds, and neutrals. Don’t worry about getting it perfect, you’ll be layering other greens and flowers on top.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Layer in Florals…</h2> <p>Start with White Stock — these are delicate white ruffled flowers on a long leafy stalk. They add an element of romance and whimsy to your table. The families expressed their gratitude through heartfelt words and joyful smiles that they wore proudly.” said Jen Andruzzi, Joe Andruzzi Foundations President and CEO. </p> <h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Why Home Matters</strong> </h3> <p>For patients navigating treatment, home is where rest and recovery happen. Over the years, our partnership with JAF has focused on very tangible ways to improve that environment, from donating mattresses and bedding to spotlighting patient stories that drive home the impact of the JAF and Bob’s partnership. </p> <p>“Watching patients choose pieces that will support their comfort and recovery is incredibly powerful. We’re honored to work alongside the Joe Andruzzi Foundation to help create spaces that feel safe, calm, and truly like home during such a challenging time.” added Lindsay Ruszczyk, Bob’s Director of Community Outreach. </p> <h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Day Of Experience</strong> </h3> <p>During each shopping spree, Bob’s teammates welcomed patients and their families with warmth and low pressure guidance helping them choose items that matched their needs, treatment schedules, and living spaces. From supportive mattresses to cozy sectionals, durable recliners, and lighting that make a room feel calm, every selection was made with one goal: to give comfort and spark joy at home. </p> <figure Employees of Bob’s Discount Furniture, LLC (“Sponsor” or “Bob’s), and its affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotional agencies, or of any company affiliated with the Sweepstakes and collectively with the foregoing persons or entities (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), and the immediate family members (herein, defined as spouse, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of residence, and any person living in such a person’s household, whether related or not) of each, are not eligible to participate.</p> <p><strong>2. Entry Period: </strong>Sweepstakes begins at 5:01 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 7, 2026 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on March 31, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).</p> <p><strong>3. Limit one (1) entry per person via this method for the Sweepstakes Period.</p> <p>Marketing Texts Opt-In Entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants who opt-in to receive emails from Bob’s can receive a bonus entry by opting in to receive marketing text messages from Bob’s by following the prompts provided.</p> <p>You may receive anywhere from 10-25 automated text messages per month from Sponsor to your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase or to enter the Sweepstakes. Text HELP for help, STOP to stop. Message and Data rates may apply. By providing your mobile number and opting into texts from Bob’s in accordance with our privacy policy and terms of use you will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes.</p> <p>Any person can only enter one (1) time via this method for the entire Sweepstakes Period.</p> <p>Form or Email Entry: To enter the Sweepstakes without opting in for marketing emails and/or marketing texts, you may submit an entry by providing your first and last name, street address, email, and phone number and pressing submit via entering this information in <a href="https://mybobs.formcrafts.com/emailsweeps" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mybobs.formcrafts.com/emailsweeps</a>. Each form entry must be submitted separately. Any person can enter via this entry method up to two (2) times. You may submit an email entry to sweepstakes@mybobs.com, with the subject line: Bob’s Furniture Email & SMS Sweepstakes and include in the body of the email: your first and last name, street address, and phone number. Each email entry must be sent separately.</p> <p>Entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible for the drawing.</p> <p>Limit three (2) entries per person for the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry.</p> <p>Entries using macro, robotic, script or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deceiving or using other unfair playing practices, including, but not limited to, opting in and out of receiving emails or marketing text messages multiple times in an attempt to earn additional entries. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address or mobile number associated with the entry and such individual must comply with these Official Rules. The “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.</p> <p><strong>4. Prize and Its Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):</strong> A $1,000.00 Bob’s Discount Furniture Gift Card (“Gift Card”). Usage of Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions on the Gift Card and at <a href="https://blog.mybobs.com/gift-card" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">blog.mybobs.com/gift-card</a>. Gift Card is awarded on an “as is” basis and cannot be redeemed for cash or used as payment for purchases of additional Gift Cards or as an adjustment to prior purchase(s) or applied as payment on any account. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. Prize is nontransferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, other than as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, of comparable or greater value, for any reason. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person for the Sweepstakes Period. Any individual who has won a prize from Sponsor within the past 6 months is not eligible for this Sweepstakes.</p> <p><strong>5. Drawing:</strong> Drawing will be held on the day following the end of the Sweepstakes Period. One (1) potential winner will be selected from all eligible entries received by Sponsor. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning a prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.</p> <p><strong>6. Winner Notification:</strong> The potential winner will be contacted by email, phone, or mail on or about two (2) business days after the drawing using the contact information given at the time of entry. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants. The potential winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited) (“Affidavit”) and W-9 Form within seven (7) days from the date of notification. Note that the potential winner must provide their Social Security Number to Sponsor for the purposes of issuing a 1099 for the value of the prize. Prize forfeiture may result from any of the following: i.) an Affidavit, W-9 Form or a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable; ii.) the Affidavit or W-9 Form is not returned within the date specified on notification; iii.) winner is otherwise found to be ineligible; iv.) winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason; and v.) any other non-compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of any prize forfeiture, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. Attempts may be made to notify up to three (3) alternate winners for the unfulfilled prize; after which the unfulfilled prize will not be awarded. Once the potential winner’s eligibility is verified, they will be confirmed as a winner. Prize will be sent to the winner approximately thirty (30) days from the date winner is confirmed.
