(Manchester, CT) May 18, 2010 – Bob's Discount Furniture today announces the opening of its newest store locations in Secaucus, NJ and Flushing, NY, now bringing the total to 38 stores located throughout New England, New Jersey and New York.  This latest opening comes shortly after Bob’s expanded its retail presence in 2010 with an opening in Nesconset, NY.  The retailer has plans to open additional stores during 2010.

Bob’s Discount Furniture has always been dedicated to offering its customers great furniture at unbeatable prices.  In today’s economic environment, this focus on unmatched value is increasingly attractive to consumers and has enabled the company to continue aggressive expansion in 2010.  The new store location in Secaucus will bring 120 jobs to the local community and Flushing will bring 75 new jobs to the local community.

Grand opening festivities will kick-off at both locations on Thursday, May 27 with ribbon-cutting ceremonies.  Events and activities will run throughout the Memorial Day weekend.  As part of its entrance into Secaucus and Flushing, through its Bob’s Outreach program, Bob’s Discount Furniture will be making $10,000 in donations to youth-focused organizations in these two communities.
