Bob's Plans Grand Opening Events, Brings More than 80 New Jobs to Community

Bob's Discount Furniture, the 2008 Furniture Retailer of the Year, with 31 stores throughout New England and New York, today announced plans to expand its presence in New York with a new store in Yonkers.  Grand opening festivities and promotions will kick-off at the store located at 2500 Central Park Avenue on Thursday, May 21 and will run throughout the Memorial Day weekend.  In preparation for the Yonkers opening, Bob’s Discount Furniture is looking to hire more than 80 employees to join its growing team.   

Bob’s Discount Furniture is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic employees to fill for a wide variety of openings in its new Yonkers location, including both part time and full time sales staff.  Bob’s Discount Furniture employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) profit sharing plan, paid vacation time and product discounts.
