NEW HAMPSHIRE FEELS THE TOUCH OF BOB’S DISCOUNT FURNITURE’S OUTREACH
Bob's Partners with its Community to Give Back to Schools

(Manchester, CT) July  05, 2011 – Bob's Discount Furniture, with 42 retail store locations throughout New England, New Jersey,  New York,  Maryland and Virginia, announces today, that during the month of July Bob’s Outreach program will take place in the great state of New Hampshire. Designed to give back to local education and communities, the program will continue throughout the year and reach each state in which Bob’s operates.

Bob’s encourages its customers to participate in giving back to their communities, too.  In each Bob’s Discount Furniture location, containers located in the store cafés are available to collect donations. At the end of each month, Bob’s collects the donations and delivers them to randomly chosen schools in the area. Through its Bob’s Outreach efforts, Bob’s Discount Furniture has supported education in the communities surrounding each of its store locations with a special focus on children, as well as art and academic initiatives. 

For the month of July, the lucky recipient of a $2,500 donation is Henry Wilson Elementary School in Manchester.

Additionally, four other New Hampshire schools have received $1,000 donations on behalf of the in-store collections:
1.    Mount Pleasant Elementary School, Nashua
2.    Birch Hill Elementary, Nashua
3.    Pelham High School, Pelham
4.    Seabrook Elementary School, Seabrook

Bob’s relies on those who live in its local communities to recommend schools to receive these donations. By sending an email to outreachvan@mybobs.com, people are asked to help Bob’s identify local schools they feel are most deserving of the donation.
