Celebrate the Arts

In many schools, fine arts programs and cultural arts assemblies are the first targets when budget cuts are made. For many other districts, these programs are often non-existent. Bob's Discount Furniture supports the importance of these programs in your child's education and wants to put the arts back in your school.

Bob's Outreach Team has designed this contest to help sponsor one winning school per state*. We are looking for all K-12 schools to take part. If you are a teacher, parent, guardian, town folk, etc. you are able to register your school to have a chance to win a grant for cultural arts assemblies for the 2009-2010 school year. One school will be randomly selected per state, utilizing questionnaire criteria showing the need for this support. A simple questionnaire to fill out will put your school in the running! Bob's Discount Furniture will award one winning school in each state a grant of $5,000.00 to be used for cultural arts assemblies.

All schools are eligible to enter this contest. No purchase necessary.

Winners are randomly picked by a third party. Winners will be notified by September 11, 2009.

Bob's Discount Furniture employees are not eligible.

*Participating states: CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI
