Q: What is Bob’s Product Warranty?
A: We guarantee that our products will be free from factory defects for one year from date of delivery or pickup. This includes all new merchandise, Outlet and Factory Fresh Outlet merchandise. (Mattresses and Power Furniture may have extended warranties. Merchandise from our 'Outlet', Clearance Centers and Mis-matched bedding sold on our ‘Outlet’ site are excluded from these warranties).
Q: What happens if I think something I bought from Bob’s is defective?
A: You must report any factory defects to our Customer Care team within one (1) year of possession, and a Customer Care representative will schedule one of our Service Technicians to inspect the item and repair it to factory standards at no cost to you.
Q: What happens if the Technician determines that the merchandise can’t be repaired?
A: If the Service Technician determines that the factory defect is not repairable, (and it is still covered by Bob’s 1 year warranty against factory defects) we will replace the product one time. If the item is no longer available, we will refund the purchase price.
Q: Is my furniture still guaranteed against factory defects if I move?
A: Bob’s will guarantee your product will be free of factory defects for 1 year from the date you receive it, even if the merchandise is moved, provided you are in an area that Bob’s services, and you are still the owner of the product.
Q: What is the Goof Proof Plus Plan?
A: You have the option of extending our Bob’s one year factory defect warranty to five years with the purchase of our Goof Proof Plus plan. The Goof Proof Plus plan not only extends our Bob’s factory warranty from one to FIVE years, it also protects you from a variety of accidental damages you may cause in those FIVE long years!to see what it covers.
Q: How should I file a claim against my Goof Proof Plus Plan if my merchandise was damaged due to an accident?
A: Call Guardian at (800) 538-9500 to report accidental stains or damages to your furniture within thirty (30) days of occurrence.
For merchandise purchased before 6/1/10, call Guardsman at 1-800-253-3957.
Q: How should I file a claim against my Goof Proof Plus Plan if I think my merchandise has a Factory Defect?
A: Call Bob’s at (800) 569-1284 to report factory defects to your merchandise. My Customer Care Department is available Monday through Saturday 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday 10:30am to 7:00pm. A Customer Care representative will schedule one of our Service Technicians to inspect the item and repair it to factory standards at no cost to you.
Q: What happens if the Technician determines that the merchandise under my Goof Proof Plus claim can’t be repaired?
A: If the Service Technician determines that the merchandise has a factory defect that is not repairable, we will replace the product one time. The replacement item will be covered by Bob’s 1 year warranty against factory defects, OR you have the option of purchasing the Goof Proof Plus plan for the replacement item, protecting it against BOTH factory defects AND a variety of accidents for FIVE years.
